Product Introduction

Electric water pumps are a part of a growing number of newer vehicles where higher efficiency engines are demanded. Aside from providing standard engine cooling, they reduce engine load and can be controlled by sensors to provide the necessary amount of coolant at any time.The use of electric water pumps is becoming more popular among original equipment manufacturers as technology changes and OEMs look for ways to improve fuel economy and efficiency.

Pulley Hub: Pulley and/or fan clutch are mounted onto the flange.

Shaft: There are Ball/Ball and Ball/Roller types.

Housing: Aluminum with Die-Cast,Gravity-Cast and Cast-Iron.

Mechanical seal: Maintain rotor being closed tightly.

Water Pump Impeller: There are either,pressed steel,cast-iron or resin type.

The water pump of the automotive cooling system has the following significant advantages

High efficiency: The multi-stage pipeline centrifugal pump structure makes the inlet and outlet of the pump located on the same horizontal line and the same caliber,and can be installed in the pipeline like a valve.

Long life and high stability: The shaft seal adopts wear-resistant mechanical seal, no leakage,long service life. At the same time,the pump material can choose PPS,which can be integrated injection molding,making the structure of the product more closely combined.

Easy installation and maintenance: The installation position of the water pump is the water outlet of the engine,and the hot water pump is driven by the fan belt and the cold water pump is injected.

Precaution in Replacing Water Pump

Do not shock water pump: Water Pump composed of precision parts of bearing,mechanical seal etc. If water pump is struck by a hammer or is dropped, it may cause leakage or damage to bearing.

Do not install water pump while: Engine is heated Heated coolant flows out to cause burns Install water pump after engine is cooled down completely.

Do not refill cold water or coolant: While engine is heated Sudden temperature change will damage mechanical seal and engine parts.
