Knipex manufactures these forged, oil-hardened snipe nose side cutting pliers with dip-insulated handles for installation, supply and assembly work and for powerful cutting.

The cutting edges of the pliers are shaped to produce a bite type cut. The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 61 HRC so that the plier can even be used to cut hard wire.

Inherently stable when twisted - particularly strong when cutting

The precision tips at an angle of 40° made of vanadium electric steel are elastic and stable when twisted. This allows the manual force deployed to be well measured - forcefully where necessary. The cutting edges are near the joint which is advantageous for the transmission of force. This produces impressive, high cutting capacities of Ø 3.2 mm for medium-hard wire and Ø 2.2 mm for hard wire.
