Another complementary product for cars is the suspension-strut mount for PC. It forms the top mounting point of the shock absorber. At the same time, it supports the vehicle weight, enables steering depending on the axle design, and dampens rolling noises and vibrations. The suspension-strut mount is exposed to heavy stresses in day-to-day driving as well as to varying weather conditions. The consequences of a defect range from increased noise generation and longer stopping distances to the loss of precision wheel guidance. Therefore, we recommend replacing the suspension-strut mount when replacing the shock absorber.
