Tridon Metal Rail Wiper Refill

Tridon metal rail wiper refills are available to suit Australian, Japanese,European and Korean vehicles. Tridon twin rail OE design refills have been developed to offer a quality rail style refill as used by leading vehicle manufacturers throughout the world.

• Available in four OE design styles
• Twin stainless steel rails with scored snap off increments designed to snap easily to size on installation and will not rust
• Moulded rubber end claw locating recess. No retaining clip required to hold refill into wiper blade claw
• Plastic rail retaining clips prevents rail spread on installation (discard after assembly)

Available in 3 backing widths: 6.5mm Narrow Back, 7.5mm Mid Back, 8.5mm Wide Back, each style has scored metal rails at marked increments allowing for easy of installation to the required length.

Narrow Back (MRN Series)
Covers 6.0-6.5mm width, Length 610mm (24"), Snaps off to 280mm (11")
• Suits late model Japanese, European, Korean and locally produced vehicles
Mid Back Square (MRS Series)
Covers 7.5mm width, Length 710mm (28"), Snaps off to 530mm (21")
• Suits most later model Japanese and Korean vehicles (square section rubber profile)
Mid Back Tapered (MRT Series)
Covers 7.5mm width, Length 710mm (28"), Snaps off to 530mm (21")
• Suits later model European vehicles (tapered section rubber profile)
Wide Back (MRW Series)
Covers 8.5mm width, Length 560mm (22"), Snaps off to 280mm (11")
• Suits early model Japanese, European and locally produced vehicles

Step 1

Remove old rubber element by squeezing and with drawing from the blade assembly.

Step 2
Insert the new wiper refill into all blade claws and ensure refill is firmly locked into moulded recess at end claw. Discard plastic rail retaining clips as metal rails are retained in end claws.

Warning: Check that all claws are engaged under the refill rails.

Step 3
Snap off the stainless steel rail strips with pliers by bending up and down scored rails at a minimum of 25mm from end of the blade claws. Score marks are at 25mm increments.

Important: Ensure rails are located in the moulded rubber section at the retaining end prior to scrapping the stainless steel strips.

Step 4

Cut rubber squeegee at a minimum of 10mm past the end of the metal rail strips.
